THE CHALLENGE
Uniting NSW.ACT is the mission and services arm of the Uniting Church Synod of NSW.ACT. At the brand’s core are strong and authentic values: Compassionate, Respectful, Imaginative, and Bold. The desire was to champion these values and have them adopted by their 10,000 staff in their day-to-day duties.
With so many of the staff living out these values already, we invited some unsung heroes from the Uniting family to share their raw, unprompted thoughts on the values and how they shaped the work they do, inspiring others to discover the ways they have been or can be influenced by the values.
WHAT WE DID
Non-actor talent is our specialty. The breadth of services including nurses, early learning workers, aged care workers, ministers, chaplains, all invited in to share their thoughts and experiences, providding authentic first-hand accounts of what it means to live out the Uniting values.
Over 15+ Uniting members were interviewed at The Signal Box Studio which featured across 4x 2min videos, each video covering its own value. Though intended for internal use only by the Mission Directorate, the piece was so loved by the wider Uniting team that an additional 1x 2min hero edit was created that encompassed all four values, for public release across social and for recruitment purposes.
