Spearheaded by The Mission Enablement Team at Uniting Mission and Education, the challenge was raised in how can we capture and share inspirational stories happening in the Uniting Church of NSW/ACT? As an inclusive and diverse church, there is a need to explore our many contexts like rural, regional, suburban, urban, First Peoples, and multicultural. With an underlying premise – “This is what God is doing – join in” – the core focus of the required communication is to resonate and inspire communities to take action so they can improve, try new things, and grow.

We’ve captured a five-part video series that highlight unique contexts
WHAT WE DID
We set out to create a series of short films called “Our Story”, each story that highlights a community and expresses hope and confidence in the work they do. Underpinning each story are four themes: diversity, inclusion, inspiration, and courage. The communities of Condobolin Uniting Church, Orange Uniting Church, and Leichhardt Uniting Church are the first three stories in the series, with a further three to be captured in the first quarter of 2022.
